Our farm is the biggest plantation for Australian acacia in China. Acacia's origin is Australia. It belongs to acacia of mimosaceae with pinnately compound leaf and deep yellow flowers. Australian acacia's florescence is 1 to 4 months. Its height can be up to 15m. Currently, the nursery stock is good seller in China market.

Cotinus coggyria.¡®Royal purple¡¯

Cotinus coggyria.¡®Royal purple¡¯ is a variety of venetian sumac of USA and belongs to Anacardiaceae. Its origin is the United States. It is a sub-tropical species.

Cotinus coggyria.¡®Royal purple¡¯ is deciduous shrub or small stately tree with round crown and peachblow leafblades. Its leafblades are purple or peachblow in spring and summer and turns ruby-red in autumn. It likes sunsine and has outstanding resistance to cold, drought, alkaline earth. But, its moisture resistance is very poor. It has strong rootage and sprouting performance. Moreover, it has relatively strong resistance to sulphur dioxide.

It mainly uses grafting for propagation with venetian sumac as stock.

Generally, in the beginning of June, the seeds of Cotinus coggyria.'Royal purple'should be collected timely, and then store the choice seeds in dry place. In the beginning of January of next year, soak the seeds into warm water for 24 hours at least and then store them in cool place for low temperature processing. Till the middle of February, move them to the place facing the sun to accelerate the germination of seeds, during the course, certain humidity is required. The seeds can not be sowed until they bud by row seeding or ridge drilling. The seeds should be sowed in well drained soil. 0.25kg seeds for per 10M2; covering soil: 1.5-2cm. In raining season, the drainage should be paid more attention to. By special processing, the percentage of germination can be up to 64% and average growth can be up to 150cm.

With peachblow leafblade, Cotinus coggyria.'Royal purple'is suitable to be massively planted in lawn, mound, evergreen trees. With beautiful and changeable color of leafblade, the Cotinus coggyria.'Royal purple' is too beautiful to be absorbed all at once. After frosting in autumn, its color of leafblade will be changed to be more brilliant red. It can maintain red in three seasons of the year. With outstanding growth pattern and distinctive color, Cotinus coggyria.'Royal purple'can be widely planted in gardens in North China, Central China, Southwest of China and Northwest of China for appreciation.
